I bought it for my 11 year old daughter to use for 2-3 day backpacking trips, but it didn't store enough (though it fit her great!). Best used for hiking out of bounds to find freshies. Like other Mountainsmith packs, it has lots of cool, easily accessed compartments. It looks cool, too
