I've used Asolo boots for the past ten years. They fit me better than any other boot. My last pair was regular width and were causing pain in my knees. I found out I am actually a 1E in width and ordered a wide pair. Presto, no more pain. I use these every day as a workboot for landscape construction. the rubber (band) was a selling point for me. Started stiff but feel great after a 3 day break in. The insert is a bit stiff in the toebox and toes ache a bit at the end of the day, but arch and heel support seem fine. I expect them to last as long as any other Asolo boot I've had over the years (soles wear out after a season on concrete surfaces)
