"Every hunter should a pair of these" By Slapaho from Weatherford, TX. on 01/19/2010 Pros: Accurate, Auto focus is amazing, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Best Uses: Hunting, Low Visibility, SunriseSunset Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Set up to your eyes one time, then the auto focus takes over, they self focus out to infinity...
Also, Steiner support is awesome if needed.....
By stovens from Petaluma, Ca on 01/09/2010 Pros: Accurate, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Plan to give these a try next deer season. Much better optics than what I was using. Interested to see if the deer pop out more, as described.
Good Quality... but not Waterproof By Mike the Hunter from Memphis, TN on 01/04/2010 Pros: Accurate, Quality Lenses Best Uses: Astronomy, Bright Conditions, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I made a mistake in purchasing these binoculars and simply want others to be aware. These are fine binoculars, but if you plan to use them in adverse weather conditions, then it might be better to look for another model. I am an avid hunter and took them on a hunt in misty, drizzly conditions. It took no time for moisture to buildup inside the lenses; and for the rest of the week, I had to use my old pair of cheap Burris binocs. I really looked forward to using these in the field and was disappointed in their performance.
