By Jimmy the Geek from Holland Michigan on 11/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots for ice fishing during Northern Michigan's coldest months. I have yet to stand on the ice in them but during the cold days of breaking them in, they have been fine. I expect that worn with a medium to heavy wool sock, they will work perfectly.

Great all around boot, tested in field By Neal A. Douglas from Gouverneur, NY on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Functional, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Snow Shoes, Steep and uneven terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these boots in Cheyenne on my way to Idaho for hunting, broke them in in the field in some adverse conditions and was pleased with their performance. Camped at 6800 feet, low teens at night, mid 30's during the day. Traversed steep terrain above 7000 feet in both snow and loose rough rocks. Boot tread offered outstanding traction up and down hill, ankle support, achiles support, warmth and waterproofing. Gator offered good snow seal and held up well. A removable liner would have been nice to put near the heater at night to dry, but was able to dry just standing them up in the tent. The rear lug has proven to work well with my snow shoe harnesses. I have been impressed thus far, will be a great boot for snow removal and all around use in Northern NY this winter. Images shared by: Neal A.
