I think these shoes are so ugly but they fit and are comfortable, so I'm wearing them! I have orthotics that fit perfect. The width seems average, not too narrow. Definately true to my exact size. The soles are rugged, but the footbed isn't too thick, so you can almost feel the bottom of the sole. So don't buy if you need alot of cushion, or just add an insert.

Have only done moderate walking so far, but have always had terrific luck with Asolo's vibram soles on boots. As for comfort, can walk forever in these shoes.
