By southerner traveling north from georgia on 11/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes for winter wear on an upcoming trip, so I don't know how warm they are, whether they will hold up to first impressions of being comfortable, etc. They do, however, fit. They feel a little bulky, but I never wear boots! I think I got 10.5 because I worried that a 10 wouldn't be large enough, and had less choices amongst Sierra's options as a result, wanting the sorel brand. Usually I wear a 10, so that may give a sense of size to someone else with boat-feet. The image is accurate on color and look.
By BerthaAnn from Chehalis, WA on 11/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They are wonderful. I purchased a 10.5 although I wear a size 10 and this is the right size for my needs (since they won't strech). The color is as the photo indicates.
Light weight and warm. Just right! By GBC from Northern Vermont on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Now that I have tried on these Sorel boots, I think they will keep me dry and warm this winter when I am outside in the snowy Vermont winter. They feel nice and light and, based on other reviews, this is the major reason I purchased them. I have a wider foot and ordered a size 9 instead of my usual 8-8 and a half. With heavy socks my feet will not be cramped.
