Great Kit But ....
By HealthVerified Reviewer from Sacramento, California on 11/08/2008
Pros:
Compact, Easy To Use, Effective, WATERPROOF
Cons:
Contains Medicine, No Hand Sanitizer, No QuickClot Pads, No SAM Type Splint
Best Uses:
Outdoor Activities
Describe Yourself:
WFA Instructor
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The kit contains medicine that should not be administered by anyone but a physician so I removed it all. The kit does not claim to have a SAM splint or QuickClot or a hand sanitizer so I had to add those three items. Other items I will add are a rope saw, flashlight, flares and tongue depressors. Kit price was 20% lower two days after I purchased three kits for use by a fishing club.

Has the essentials (splint, triangle bandage, irrigation syringe) that might be needed by our field researchers. However the kit lacks fold out pockets to keep contents together. The individual bags can get misplaced.

Didn't contain the sam's splint and had fold up scissors rather than bandage scissors. I returned mine and got a 300. I will add my own extra items.
