heavy duty but imperfectly engineered By Boo-Dog from Blacksburg, VA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Drink From, Good Depth, Stay Put, Tough Cons: Top won't close entirely Best Uses: Active Dogs, Larger Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Appears durable. Quite large. Heavier than expected, which is not good for backpacking with the dog. Satisfied except that the top won't cinche all the way... so the dog-food spills out. Not sure what the purpose is for that drawstring.
We love it, the Olly dog bowl By innovative from western slope CO on 10/26/2009 Pros: Easy to Clean, Good Depth, Good Height, Tough Best Uses: Outdoors, Washing up on canoe trip Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We bought this for our friend Olle. He and his family started camping in CO this year and we hope they will enjoy it. We always keep a small, foldable, pet bowl in our camp gear for washing hands & faces before meals or after messy tasks. Uses a little water and is so easily packed. Sorry, Dog lovers.
By pokeysan from austin tx on 08/04/2009 Pros: Easy to Clean, Easy To Drink From, Good Depth, Stay Put Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors, Puppies Describe Yourself: New Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We take this bowl to the park for quick drinks for our 7 mo. old. My only complaint is that the inside bottom of the bowl is not make out of the same material and the "lid". So it seems like water would seep out if left for too long. We usually only have water in it for about an hour, but i would be nervous if going on a road trip and it was on the floor board. It probably is best used for a food bowl, but will suffice for a short term water bowl.
By Tucker's Mom from Indian River, MI on 08/03/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The drawstring portion of the dish is very stiff and hard to close. The dish is too bulky to just fit in a pocket or fanny pack. It is nice and waterproof though.
By Lodi from New York State on 07/25/2009 Pros: Easy to Clean, Good Height, Tough Cons: Does not close completely Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors, Traveling Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The biggest problem was that the drawstring did not close the bowl completely so food could spill out while in our backpacks. Folding the cover back over the bowl when in use worked great.
By The Packster from Durham, NC on 06/10/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Clean, Easy To Drink From, Good Depth, Good Height, Stay Put, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bowl is great while on the go. It will collapse to a small size that you can pack away and opens up to a good sized bowl. I have two dogs each one is about 40 lbs and these bowls are just the right size for food/water. The only con is that there is a draw cord that tucks on the inside of the bowl and I don't know how long this will last with dogs eating/drinkig out of it. On the plus side the bowl has a loop to hang it upside down and it dires pretty quickly.
Beats drinking from cupped hands! By Zora from Salida, Colorado on 03/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Clean, Easy To Drink From, Good Depth, Good Height, Stay Put, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love my bowl, my people carry it in their pack to give me a drink on the trail. They have even used it in the car where it stayed put on car floor while I drank. I think we will use it often. Thanks for asking me!

By irma from CO on 12/16/2007 Pros: Easy Set Up, Good Construction, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Drawstring doesn't close tightly, so little pieces of food can escape.
