I could not figure out what size I would need so I gave up.

They are fairly comfy for walks and light hikes and a good shoe overall. They are built more like a hiking shoe than a running shoe, and will need a cushioned insole if you plan on doing any trail running or very long walks/hikes.

I ordered 1/2 size smaller than my usual 10. The usual 10's are too small in the toe box, 11's are too big, and 10 1/2 is unavailable.

I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, so I ordered a size 8 and they fit--with even a little room. These are for day hikes with my family. I'll have them for years.

They are a little heavier than I like for a day hiker.
