By Happy Traveler from South Carolina on 12/07/2008 Cons: Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I absolutely loved the look of these and am a big fan of ecco shoes, so I ordered two pairs. Unfortunately, they do not fit like any other eccos I have ever had. They are just brutally uncomfortably - the leather is very stiff and they cut across the front of the foot. I tried wearing a pair for one day and by the end of the day, my feet were unbelievably sore and had red marks where the shoes were cutting into me (and I have very normal, easy-to-fit feet!). Obviously a lot of people have had trouble with this particular style - my advice would be to stay away!
Comfortable and not too high. By Susana from Rockville, Maryland on 11/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Style Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love comfort, but style comes first. I wear a size 10 and I still like the look of these shoes. If a shoe is too bulky, it can make a size 10 look huge. These do not. They are also very comfortable. I have 2 pair now, one black and one brown.
By Marian the Librarian from Crystal Lake, IL on 11/09/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work Describe Yourself: Style Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I stand at my job, but I like stylish shoes. I have had Ecco shoes in the past that were SO comfortable I never wanted to take them off. I would even wear them at home cleaning, etc.
I am afraid these are not that comfortable. They are stiff and hard. I am just hoping that eventually they will break down a bit by me wearing them for short intervals around the house.
ran way too small, returned this shoe By kv from athens, georgia on 11/09/2008 Cons: Irregular Fit, Too Stiff Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i wear a 40 in dansko, have 6 pairs, purchased a 40 in these shoes and they felt a full size too small
By Loves shoes from East Lyme, CT on 11/07/2008 Cons: Irregular Fit, Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for an everyday casual pair of shoes and from the picture and description I thought they were exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, they were big all over and was afraid that if I exchanged them for the next size down, they would be too short. I had to return these.
Woudln't recommend this shoe for comfort By Mary Janes from Mile High City, Colorado on 08/23/2008 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Too Stiff, Uncomfortable, Unstable Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was sadly dissapointed in the comfort of these shoes. I threw the packaging away, trusting by the look of the shoes they would work out. Stupid I know, now I'm stuck with them. They are so stiff, I thought my feet were going to fall off by the end of the day. There is no "breaking this shoe in". I got blisters on both feet. I would say these shoes run at least a 1/2 size smaller. I wear size 9 and have never had to go bigger. If anything, I've had to go to 8.5. OUCH! I wish I could send them back.
Great classic shoe for pants or skirts By Ivy Quilts from Upstate NY on 08/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the rustic leather and big buckle. A classic style but NOT a frumpy shoe. Lightweight. Lightweight wiht non-slip sole and what feels like substantial heel to me. These can be worn with wide-leg pants, capris and gauchos, jumpers and skirts. They will look best with a fun color or knit stocking. I would wear them shopping, on vacation, or to school.
By light confi elegance from Alberta on 07/23/2008 Cons: Stains Easily, Unstable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Formal Events Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I still like these shoes, there is only one drawback and that's the inside of the shoe material; they used some artificial material that causes that the feet don't breathe, so outside is a nice leather sued type, but inside after a while, it's not so confi.
By beachgirl from Albany, OR on 07/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable Describe Yourself: Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe is very cute and comfortable! The sizes seem to run a bit large. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 to 8, so I ordered the Euro size 38. This size was too big, so I exchanged it for a size 37 and it fits perfectly!
By teacher Lil from Juneau, AK on 05/27/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Can be casual or dressy Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: can be worn with jeans, or a dress. They are made of leather, so hopefully will stretch out a bit to fit my width. They are very stable, good for my feet and ankles.
