(Not long enough for tickets.) Will hold passports. Wore the shirt kayaking over the weekend. It and a coolmax t-shirt were enough to block wind on the river. Washed once. Looks ok. Have not given it the "wash in the bidet" test yet.

They hold up well, don't wrinkle, and can go from long sleeve to short sleeve when it gets hot.

Heat, humidity and often soaking wet, the shirt was comfortable and dried quickly.

The fabric, despite being synthetic, feels soft and cool against the skin. In my experience, it's much more comfortable than fabrics used by competitors which often feel sticky.
It dries quickly, with minimal wrinkles, which is great for traveling. The zipper security pocket is great for items you can't afford to lose such as a cell phone, airline tickets, or passport.
I own similar shirts by Columbia, Moose Creek, and others, but the Ex Officio are clearly the best.
I've been wearing my oldest Ex Officio shirts for 6 or 7 years, and they're still holding up well.
