It is pretty wide for going through the trees.

Not light or compact enough for hiking, but great for base camp/casual camping. Somewhat of a chore to roll up, but carry bag is sized appropriately, plus has carrying handle.

This one is the final replacement for our old gear & we didn't hesitate to get same as other three we've already purchased & used. Too heavy & bulky for backpacking but great for other use, very comfortable & easy to inflate.
By Missing MN in UT from Salt Lake City, UT on 10/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Inflate, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took my 80 year old parent's car camping and they loved the new air pad. Last time we went camping I had an air mattress which they did not find comfortable. The extra thick air pad was a big improvement for them.

After I sleep, I can roll it up and make room for storage of other items. The 3" thickness was very comfortable. Wish I could take it backpacking, but that is out of the question.
By Camping newbie from Indianapolis Indiana on 10/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Inflate Best Uses: Car Camping, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a camping newbie and was very concerned about having a comfortable night's sleep. This pad is not small, and it creates a large roll when rolled up. However, it is so comfortable and easy to inflate I consider it well worth the cost and space used to pack it along for car camping. It wouldn't be appropriate to carry hiking/camping but was very welcome on my recent weekend car camping trip.
By TOB9595 from New Jersey on 09/26/2009 Pros: Adds great warmth, Comfortable, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate, Non Slip Cons: Bulky Roll Up, Tough to deflate and roll Best Uses: Car Camping, Extended Trips, Hammock Camping, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this for hammock camping. I place it in my HENNESSY HAMMOCK and it allows me to use in temperatures below 30 F. The insulating ability of this is great and it is comfortable for tent camping also.
Easy to inflate. Just unscrew the caps. Tough to deflate. It takes a bit of work and struggle to get it small enough to fit in the straps and carry bag.
I recommend it to all for car camping, a spare mattress. A FINE PRODUCT
