Used a MRS Ventana footprint for the ground cover. Good quality construction. Good small size to fit in small dry bag.
Tough to Beat for Summer Camping, etc. By aysrav from Augusta, GA on 10/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Freestanding, Lightweight, Small pack size, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Motorcycle Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am exceedingly pleased with my new tent. I was perfectly dry after several rainy nights. The fly provides outstanding protection and vestibule space for gear. It is a palace when used as a solo tent. I have also camped with my daughter and it was great. We are both pretty petite but there was plenty of room for us. It goes up nearly as quickly as a "pop-up." Gotta love the fact that it's freestanding too! Once it's assembled you can pick it up and move it wherever you want. Although there are lighter tents on the market, I am a motorcycle camper so the weight is perfect. I also love the fact that it's all mesh. That makes for wonderful stargazing and comfort in the summer. There are a couple of pockets that are useful for storing personal effects and clips on top for hanging a light or gear loft. The quality is first rate even down to the stakes. The poles are light and nearly assemble themselves. The zippers are quiet and do not snag. This tent met all of my requirements. Couldn't have really asked for anything more.
By B from Upstate N.Y. on 09/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Sturdy Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This tent is great, it sets up fast, and is made from good quality materials. The only downfall is that it is a tad heavy (a few ounces). For the price it is a GREAT tent. Buy this tent, get off your computer and Go Explore!

Open air mesh nice alternate for optimal venting during hot days
Stargazing Lovers...the tent for you! By madmitch from Syracuse, NY on 08/26/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Beach, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Side collapsed inward during a very hard wind. Tent remained standing. Be sure to completely stake the fly in inclement weather. Inside did stay dry during hard rain. Nice for camping under the stars in clear weather. Very easy to set up; folds small and is lightwight. The double doors are a plus.
By sm from Vail, Co on 08/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It sets up faster than my friends with MSR tents. We got rained on in Glacier and I was dry. I like the tent, the rain fly requires stakes, but you stay dry. Its a good value for [$]. Its a mesh tent but I camp more when its too hot than when its too cool even though I live at 8100 ft.
By Cub Scout Leader from Crystal Lake, IL on 08/19/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My son and I took this camping for a weekend. Our first night we rode out a severe thunderstorm and torrential downpour. Not a drop of water in the tent. Large area outside the tent under the fly to put your pack. It's super quick to set up. Not roomy, but we were not looking for a tent to hang out in anyway...
By Kelly from Cookeville, TN on 08/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this tent for my wife and I. I liked the relative low price, the two vestibules, the two doors, all the mesh and the complete fly cover. It didn't rain, so I can't comment on how waterproof it is. It's small, but cozy enough for a couple as long as you keep your gear under the vestibules.
By Big Joe from Logan UT on 08/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wind Rivers were in the low 30's with rain and snow in late July and I was warm and dry at 10,000 feet. The tent packed easily and set up fast. It is tight but passible for 2. I'm thin but 6'4" so the size matters.
