Although I tend to use lightweight gear, this was such a great buy, I could'nt pass it up. I love the big zipper and despite the fact that it is very heavy and bulky(does'nt compress well) it is agreat bag for very cold conditions.

Comments:
We bought this bag for the Alaskan outdoors and we are pleased with its durability, warmth and overall design. We did not experience any problems with the zipper as some other reviewers commented. The bag is not lightweight, but not extremely heavy either. I would not recommend for extended backpacking due to the weight, but for ideal for campgrounds, cars, etc. We bought four of the bags, one of them an extra-large for my husband who is 6' 2" and it is the perfect length for him. The bag is very comfortable with plenty of soft cushion. The price of the bag was unbelievable and I do not think any corners were cut for the price; it is a high quality product that I would greatly recommend.

the bag looked good on the web when it arrived ,wow Ginormous and heavy too. not what i expected at all. It also had a small grease stain on the bottom. much too large . I thought to keep it just for car camping but thought it still to big . It takes up alot of room .I struggled to get the zipper up while inside .not happy with it at all

Comments:
I used this bag on New Years Eve 2008. It was about 10 degrees without wind chill and 0 degrees when accounting for that. I love the high loft of the bag and the lack of cold spots. The stuff sack was just the right size to shove the bag in without much trouble. My only concern is the poor zipper system. I did not rip the material but it got caught several times. Overall a wonderful bag. I can't wait to try it in a snow shelter.
