Just a good basic down bag By C.W. from Wyoming on 12/11/2007 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...]. Well made, Marmot quality, good fabric seems "down-proof" and I was glad to see not a bunch of extra "features", that stuff is just overkill to me. Have not slept on snow, or pushed the temperature rating much, if at all. It did fine for me down to 30's w/out tent, no need to zip-up all the way. The bag has all the usual benefits of down bags, and all the shortcomings of course. Keep dry and all is well. A wet down bag is zero fun and down dries very slowly. If you think you might get a soaking, the extra bulk/wt. of a synthetic is worth every cubic inch and oz. in my opinion. Out in mountain/desert west, down is hard to beat. Light and packs small so I bought this one. Good bargain for the light/fast backpacker, my opinion.

By Staying warm in CO from Fort Collins, CO on 09/11/2007 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Great Zipper System, Warm Cons: I wish it was 800 fill Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am really happy with this sleeping bag. I have only used it once, but it was pretty cold that night and I was warm. I also have a tendency to get colder than most people, so this bag really fit my needs. My brother wants one too and comes by just to look at it. Overall, a nice zero degrees bag especially for the money. Marmot makes nice bags.
