By Fashion Hiker LOL! from Fairfax, VA on 11/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Sturdy/Durable Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I reviewed everyone elses comment regarding the sizing. It seemed to me that everyone was leaning towards it feeling too small so I went with size 7.5. I usually toggle between a 7 and 7.5 depending on the maker of the shoes. I should have gone with size 7. I bought the Asolo FSN 70 Gore-Tex® Hiking Boots - Waterproof (For Women)in a size 7 so I returned these and got a refund (since I really don't need 2 shoes!) I would have kept them had I ordered size 7. The blue ones looked very nice!

By Susie Q from Indianapolis, Indiana on 09/12/2008 Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a boot that does not have gore tex. My feet get really hot in gore tex. These seem to fit the bill. From reading others comments, I ordered my regular shoe size. Big mistake. They were too small. I have hiking shoes by Asolo which are my regular shoe size & these boots are noticeably shorter. Other than size, the boots is well made and the color is great.
Great Boots - Great Value By Anna the Amateur Adventurer from OKC, OK on 08/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Roomy toe box, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm still breaking these in for my next backpacking trip, and I'm very pleased! They provide great foot support for those long treks. When these boots first arrived, I had to pry up the hooks on the ankle with a screwdriver to even get the lacings into them. These boots are heavier than I'm accustomed to (but that's not saying much), and I haven't tested their resistance to water, but I'm glad I chose this boot.

They are everything one could ask for in a hiking boot; strong, good traction, secure feeling for foot, water resistant and very short break-in time. Plus, they look great.

By busy mom of 4 from North Bend, OR on 06/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a pair of new boots, and these looked great. I have worn them around town and some light hikes. They are extremely comfortable. They felt like a well-broken-in pair the first time I put them on. They are great and I look forward to having them a long time. I ordered an 8 and they feel about 1/2 size too big, but with extra thick socks, they are fine.
