Great boot -- runs narrow though By Avid walker with bouts of serious hiking from Maryland with hiking in mountains of PA. on 10/26/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Sturdy/Durable, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally wear an 11M. I ordered the 11M in this boot but found it too narrow so returned it and received the WIDE...Much better with excellent fit. Super boot at an excellent price...Be certain to get a gel insert though, hard platform...
By black-n-gold lover from Pittsburgh "City of Champions" , PA on 10/23/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Light weight, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Outdoorsman Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my fourth pair of Asolo's but only the second fully waterproof pair. The boots are great for the price. The only downfall I have encountered is the last pair of fully water proof boots the rubber toe has separated from the boot. I am giving Asolo the benefit of two good pairs to one fair and I have purchased another pair. Only time will tell....

This is my third pair of these boots By Jim the Fulltime RVer from On the road in North America on 10/22/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Harsh Terrain, Light Loads, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these boots just about every day. I bought my first pair about 1 1/2 years ago and they haven't worn out yet although they are beginning to show the time in the soles. When I bought my first pair I was looking for a boot which would provide good support for my badly damaged left ankle. I suffer from chronic tendonitis due to an accident three years ago. I had used three other boots before buying this Asolo, with varying degres of success. I purchased these boots on the basis of online reviews and what appeared to be good value. I wasn't disappointed. They've served me well out on the Arizona desert for fout months as well as in the Yukon and Alaska this summer. Hate to think that someday this model may be discontinued! Maybe I'd better buy a few more pairs right now against that eventuality. :) :

By City Trail Walker from Portland, OR on 10/22/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In Cons: Laces are a bit too long Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good value with a good fit; I use them for city park and arboretum trail hiking....city stuff. They seem a little light in weight, so I wonder about durability on tougher non-city environments, but they are perfect for what I do.
