By Ken from Reno on 12/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable, warm, easy lacing system, easy to put on or take off.
The traction is OK. The toe is solid rubber so when I bend that toe while kneeling, the rubber presses into the top of my foot. Not too bad for a couple minutes, but if you are someone that needs to bend that toe a lot, like a squatter or something, consider another boot.
By Amstaff from Erie, CO on 12/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I originally ordered my size but they were very loose fitting so I sent them back and ordered a half size smaller. They were still a bit too big but after getting some Carhartt boot socks they fit great.
The traction is awesome and they are very light. The top hooks allow you to loosen the laces when you're taking them off which is also great for throwing them on quickly. They also allow my pants to fit over the tops...no more fur sticking out from my Caribou's : )
Great right out of the box By outdoor professor from St. Cloud MN on 12/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish I had bought these boots years ago; they fit well and were comfortable and practical in a 4-in. snowfall right out of the box. The cuffs fit snugly, but can easily be adjusted. The soles give excellent traction and insulate my feet on the "frozen tundra" of Minnesota far better than the boots they replaced. An excellent buy, especially at this price.

By Craig from Parma Michigan on 12/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Would like a speed lacing system.
By MadbikeMike from Madison WI on 12/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ride a bike year round in Madison WI. I've not found any shoe covering that holds up for the entire winter, so I decided to try boots this year. I've only ridden with these boots a couple of times, but so far they are fantastic. Very warm and windproof. I wore a thin pair of Smartwool socks today in temps of 20F and my feet were plenty warm. Highly recommended product! I will try to follow up with another review in the dead of winter.
