Great Boot-comfortable and warm. By Lou from Princeton, NJ on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are great. They fit well, are comfortable, very stylish and warm. I orginally ordered Columbia Bugalite boots but read some bad reviews from purchasers, so I exchanged them for the Sorel Timberwolf. I also read reviews on the Timberwolf and found no bad reviews, and there were many. One of the reviews recommended ordering them a half of a size smaller then you normally take, that was very accurate. I am a 12.5 and ordered a 12. it fits well.

By what ev from Winter Park, CO on 10/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work in the Forest Service I hike lot in the mountains of colorado so it can be wet and in the fall and spring, snow! So these guys are working great for me now, super warm and surprisingly stable for the rugged terrain i work in. But i don't see them lasting for say 4-6 months of abuse that i give them, don't think they were made for that but i only need them for about a month of work and they do the job. For anyone else doing less then that, they should last for a while. The only thing is, and i read it on other reviews...they run big!! i usually wear a 7.5-8 mens and i have the 7 and they still have a hair of extra room.
By On Your Honor from New York City on 10/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Roomy, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Student- NYC Walking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I go to school in NYC and walk several blocks on each end of my subway commute. The most miserable way to spend the winter here is with cold feet. Fortunately that won't be a problem for me with these boots. They are spectacular.
By Discriminating Shopper from Brighton, MI on 10/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are nice. I haven't worn them in the snow yet as it is only October, but they are rated to provide warmth. If it performs like other Sorel boots I've had, I'll be quite pleased with them.
Very Nice but not winter yet... By Bethany from Vale, Oregon on 09/25/2009 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Considering it is not winter yet and this is actually going to be a Christmas present the new owner hasn't even tried them on but I have checked them out. I think they will make great work boots for the cold weather and snow this winter. I was really glad when I heard about Sierra's return policy and even though I bought them so far ahead of Christmas I can still take them back if they don't fit or hurt his feet!
