I have a lawn and landscape company and I walk many miles each day. I broke these boots in in a couple of days. My feet have never gotten wet, but I've only used these boots for about a month. Can't go wrong with Asolo.
By Backwoods pic taker from Riverside, Ca on 08/12/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these for everyday drivers and weekend day hikes and overniters. Once my pack gets past 25 or 30 lbs I switch to Asolo Titans. The laceing system is great. They have great ankle suport, I have almost roled my ankle several times, I always end up siting on the ground in an aukward position but without strains sprains or breaks.
By Mountain Mike from Fairfield, CA on 08/10/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Harsh Terrain, Heavy Loads, Long-Distance Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you have smaller volume(narrow) feet or have liked Asolo boots in the past you will love these. This is my second pair of Asolo boots and really like the comfortable support and the Gore-tex functions perfectly. Nice stiff soles work well for heavier loads but they have a built in curve that follows your stride.
