Great value for the price By Car D Yak from Philadelphia, PA on 09/01/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Bad Weather, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is great for riding on cool days.
Light and convenient shell. By batmick from Carlsbad, CA on 09/01/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this to have a light shell with vest option for my commute. Should be perfect for those "brutal" SoCal winters. Have not yet had a chance to test it in bad weather but it looks like it will provide adequate protection against cold, wind and light rain. Don't think I'd want to use it in really bad rain though.
By Tall Paul from Shawnee, KS on 08/25/2009 Pros: Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Bad Weather, Commuting Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been looking for a versatile rain/wind jacket that is also convertible and STP has some good choices. I purchased this jacket as well as the Descente Axiom jacket to see which one was better. I actually liked the Canari jacket better because it seemed to have better pockets, zips would be easier to operate while riding, the front zip is dual-op, it stuffed smaller, and it was cheaper. However, I returned this jacket for two specific reasons: First the color on TSP says "black" but shows as more of a dark gray color. Make no mistake, this jacket is black which I didn't care for personally. Second, and more important, is that the sleeves were way too short for me. I'm 6' 4" so fit problems are not uncommon, but Canari is usually good. I kept the Descente and really like it too.
Great Jacket / Vest Combo By MrBobzilla from Ventura, CA on 08/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Bad Weather, Casual Wear, Commuting, Mountain Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is a very versatile jacket / vest combo that does what it was intended to do - give you the option to modify your outer wear depending on the changing weather. I'm usually an XL and I ordered an XL and it fit well. The construction is pretty durable and the jacket rolls up compactly for easy transportation.
Love it, light and snug fit By Sal from Texas on 08/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Bad Weather, Commuting, Mountain Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only think i dotn like is the buckle in the pocket, used when you stuff the jacket into one pocket to store. I dont see the need for this, it fits in the pocket just fine and does nto need the buckle, I just cut it off though.
Otherwise the jacket is awesome, love the dual zipper.

By Love 2 Surf from Southern CA on 06/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this jacket in Tahoe mountain biking & it kept me warm. I like that it breaks the wind & is light weight. I wouldn't use it if it was freezing, but 50-60 deg was great.
