Just bought my 2nd & 3rd pair here By In Training from Atlanta, GA on 11/10/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Gym, Neutral Runner, Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm training for a marathon. I really like these shoes. They fit well, absorb shock well, and are comfortable. I got 600 miles out of my last pair. (I would recommend you replace yours a lot sooner. I was racking up the miles quickly and I just couldn't make it to the shoe store.)
I purchased my 1st pair at a local shoe store. (The shoe is now last year's model. It was rated very well by a national running magazine.) I replaced them with a pair of Mizuno's. The Mizuno's did not provide as good a cushion (ball of my foot) as the Brooks.
I was so pleased when I found them here on-line. For the price, I purchased 2 pairs.
Great shoes for a Neutral runner.

These shoes are not YELLOW but GREEN By xtewaan from Seattle WA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was surprised by the color of the shoes when they came out of the box. To my mind, these shoes looked more yellow than green in the picture. In reality, the uppers are kind of a puke green and the soles are a totally different, neon green. I'm not so picky about such things, but someone else might find the mismatching uppers and sole undesirable.
By Chris from Vienna, VA on 10/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Flexible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got a great deal on these shoes and, at that price, I don't think there's a better shoe for the money. These shoes are just fine for running on a treadmill. They have plenty of heel cushion. Brooks Beast are much more stable, and have more forefoot cushioning, but are also a whole lot more expensive. Also, the bright green is kinda snazzy.

Good comfortable shoes for running By T from Frederick MD on 09/28/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just started back running after a long time away from the sport. These shoes are great so far. Hopefully my mileage will increase and the shoes will still be good.
By Lola Mama from Seattle Area on 09/24/2009 Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these for my son, who runs Cross Country. He has another pair of Brooks for overpronators, but we were looking for something with a higher arch. He liked the feel of these, but they were a little too short on the toe area. Bummer, they look amazing!
By Casual runner from Fox Point, WI on 09/22/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As a long-time Brooks user, I find these continue to balance the most desirable running shoe features in the best possible way for me. They're light, have good support, breathe well and absorb shock without being a "sponge." I bought a second pair.
By bandStrider from Madison, WI on 09/15/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have owned Brooks in the past so I knew to order 1/2 size larger. I also have wide feet and like that you can get EE sizes from them. I have only done 3 or 4 runs in these so far but they seem to be good, with maybe a bit less stabilization than my last pair.
