The support is fantastic, and I walk about 3 -5 miles a day. My feet dont get blisters or bruises any more.

A little too big but inserts dealt with that issue.I like them a lot.
Tempted to buy a second pair By Sandi from South Portland, ME on 11/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flexible, Stable Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered half a size UP and they feel great. Only negative I can find is that they are a little hard to get on ... that is, the laces need to be opened one-by-one ... minor issue, though.
By wishing for the perfect running shoe from Seattle, WA on 11/02/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are actually true to size - I followed the catalogue's instructions, and bought them a size too big. I tend to pronate a bit and am already feeling that. But, I also have high arches and the more cushioned shoe is feeling good. So, it's a bit of a wash. I have been wearing brooks Addiction for years.
By JoJo's mom from Aspen, CO on 10/28/2009 Best Uses: Gravel, Level dirt trail, Pavement Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run 16 - 20 miles a week, I'm 5'5" 140#. This shoe didn't work for me. It's not a bad shoe, but I inadvertantly got a "D" width which was sloppy around the arch (I'm a B width). Additionally I am a forefoot striker and this shoe's heel was too built up for me. It feels a lot like the Brooks adrenaline on the foot. I was looking for a replacement for my old Glycerin 6's. All this being said, I think this shoe may be a very comfortable runnin shoe for the right person, I just wasn't that person. Too bad, because they are a great price! One other thing, I rated these shoes as true to size, because they fit true to running shoe size. (1/2 size larger than street shoe size to allow room for foot expansion when running). I only rated them too wide because they were D width.
By Alaska gal from Juneau on 10/28/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have very long feet so have trouble finding brands. Brooks shoes seem to be more consistent in sizing than competitors.
By kellbell from washington dc on 10/26/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My daughter runs for a University and uses these shoes for her daily runs. She runs about 70 miles/week. Her college provides free Asics, but she only uses those to go to and from class. The Brooks work best for her.
By dianacp from Oakland, CA on 10/19/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight Cons: Not for wet conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my daughter, and she says they are the most confortable shoes she's worn.
Great buy and wonderful support!!! By gr8intntseyes from Seneca, SC on 10/19/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my daughter ... she's in middle school and needed a good shoe since she's
1) busy during the day.
2) got an unusual gait ... walking with her feet pointed out like Fred Flintstone and
3) recently started complaining of ankle problems.
She picked out the color of the shoes and was thrilled when they arrived. She is very happy with her "Brooks", wearing them daily. That's awesome since she's a teen -- I'm very pleased :)
