By munrobagger from Florida & Scotland on 03/11/2009 Pros: Haven't used yet, Slim Design Best Uses: Camping, Everyday, Gym, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great looking. I live in Florida and I'll carry this around with me in my everyday travels when the weather gets warmer. I ordered 2 and happy that I did. I drink a lot of water when I'm on the trails and not sure if this will be enough for me - I normally use my military water bottle but we'll see!!!
Neck is plastic, not metal. By scoutmom from Bethesda, MD on 03/09/2009 Best Uses: Camping, Cycling, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The bottle is made of aluminum, but the neck is plastic. I've only just begun to use it, but worry about the durability. The neck is the part of the bottle under stress when the top is clamped down, using the metal clamp (kind of like an old-fashioned top for a maple syrup bottle.)
