Well Made Bag for a great price By T1 from Nashville, TN on 11/04/2009 Pros: Great price, Quality materials, Warm, Well built Best Uses: Canoe Camping, Car Camping, Short backpacking trips Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great bag that I bought for my fiance. I have owned a Marmot bag for a long time and it has never let me down in any way, so I knew I couldn't go wrong here. So far she has loved it and it has kept her plenty warm. Havent had an opportunity to try it out in anything below 40 degrees, but I dont doubt that it will perform nicely.
By 65Pony from New York on 11/02/2009 Pros: Cost Effective, Light, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Excellent bag for the money-first trip included torrential downpours and the bag stayed nice and warm.
Good bag for a good price By Slim Jim from Raleigh, NC on 11/01/2009 Pros: Good Value, Not too heavybulky Cons: Bulkier than high-end mod, Holds odors Best Uses: Casual car camping, Low-altitude camping Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for the $$. My wife uses and keeps her adequately warm for low-altitude woodland camping. Would not recommend for long-distance/rugged backcountry or minimalist. If you want a good all-around or starter bag for not much $$ this is a great option.
By Wild-Blue from Cupertino, CA on 10/27/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice for low-end Marmot. Not very compressable, so it is really just good for car-camping. I've used it down to 30 degrees and was very warm. Not sure it would be warm enough down to 15.
By Lost Girl from Colorado on 10/24/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for my kids camping trip with school. They were very warm and it was nice to carry!
By retired couple from Stevens Point, WI on 10/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Well Made Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bag worked really well for our purposes. We were car camping, sleeping in a tent. The tempurature dropped to the low forties at night, but we were warm wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
By lotus blossom from Bloomington, IN on 09/03/2009 Pros: It packs pretty easily, It was long enough, Seems like good quality Cons: I was cold at temp of 35, Zipper is a little tricky Best Uses: Backpacking, Down to 40 degrees Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: We took this bag on a four day backpacking trip in Utah. It was probably 35 degrees at night and we were barely warm enough in these bags. Sometimes it was difficult to unzip - which is troublesome in a mummy bag.
The bag itself seems to be of good quality fabric and workmanship, but it didn't live up to it's claim of providing warmth down to 15 degrees for sure.
light weight as promised, but needs bag By jackk from Reno, NV on 08/24/2009 Pros: Can be dompressed, Light Weight Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't used the bag yet. Can't comment on the ability to keep you warn to 15 degrees.
By Flummi from Madison, WI on 08/22/2009 Pros: Good Quality, Great Value, Light Weight, Little pocket, Roomy, Warm Best Uses: Tent Camping, Three season Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Really am impressed with the quality. It's a great value and has everything I was looking for in a warm, comforable and light sleeping bag. It even has a little zipper pocket in the upper front for lip balm, little light etc. I was a little worried about a mummy bag, but it still has plenty of room so it does not feel too constricting.
