I will use this as a cool weather jacket, to head out for the evening or as a layer for cold weather sports

By Dabin from San Francisco, CA on 10/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit is perfect! At first I thought the sleeves were too long and the length too short but the more I wear it I like this fit. Sleeves are perfect for raising arms over heads without jacket shifting. Not too warm but perfect for layering or for chilly days... construction is solid!
By Jamey from Scottsdale, AZ on 09/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This isn't the warmest jacket, but if you want to add a quick layer of stylish protection, it does the job very well. I take this jacket everywhere. It has held up beautifully - only a minor scar from skidding across concrete.
By Fredbooxe from Indiana on 04/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice softshell for cool weather...e.g. low 40s. Bit bulky due to the insulation. Tight fit in arms so for me it works with a tight, thin layer. Could use another pocket on the chest.
By nw mountaineer from seattle on 04/27/2009 Cons: Inadequate Protection Best Uses: Skiing/Snowboarding, Spring conditions only Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This should be a supplimental garment only, not one to trust in extreme cold/windy/wet conditions
By daisy from tn on 03/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered jacket for husband; jacket qualities were great but the size didn't work. He wears L in jackets and this one was too small. I reordered an XL and it was too big. He's 5'11"; 160 lbs - average.
The most uncomforable jacket I ever had By pentaxer from Capital Region, NY on 03/25/2009 Cons: Doesn't Breathe, Not Enough Pockets or Features, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Returned the jacket very next day. Hated the style/cut. It is too thin to be used an insulator. Does not protect from the wind, so not so useful as an outer jacket.
By Weekender from New York, NY on 03/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Lightweight mid-layer Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product. Perfect top layer for cool weather or lightweight mid layer for skiing. As others have noted the sizing is best for taller people as the sleeves are long. Otherwise it's perfect - looks great too.
By Samini from Bay Area, CA on 03/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for many active uses in moderate temperatures, with decent wind protection. I love this jacket for XC skiing and hiking. The snug fit, especially in the underarms, is good when you are active but too confining for lounging. There is enough room for a medium base layer but not much more, so it is not a cold-weather outer layer.
By Bob Saget from Netherlands on 02/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: used it as a top layer for (speed) skating and cross country skiing, and as a mid layer for downhill skiing. Worked great in the swedish cold.
