I'll be wearing them all winter.
By Mthiker from Montana on 11/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Regulates Temperature Well Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking, Mountaineering, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You might not want to wear on a warm day, but these are comfortable. I never thought about wearing them until the fall day got quite warm (70). I wore them in my cool office and my feet felt wonderful. They should be great on my fall backpacking trips.

By Colorado Winter Walker from Colorado on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Regulates Temperature Well Cons: IRREGULAR NOT MENTIONED, Wears Out Quickly Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Way at the bottom amid many other descriptive words "2nds" is written. I didn't even see it. The word "irregular" would have caught my eye; even "factory seconds", but not tiny writing of the word '2nd' which I feel is deceiving especially as the socks themselves have the word in large print written directly on the material, "IRREGULAR" so you can't miss it. The liners are very thin so they won't last long but I felt how warm they were immediately & as I bought them to go under some SmartWool socks for Colorado winter walks I think the warmth and uniform feel of the sock outweighs the thin material. I feel the price is a bit high for 'factory seconds'. I would recommend them with reservations. If you are hard on socks, don't buy them. If, like me, your clothing lasts a reasonable amount of time and you don't do long, daily hikes or backpacking, buy them.
By hiker paul from los angeles ca on 10/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This product would be great if the quality were better.
They are 2nds so I expected cosmetic flaws, but the ones I got were not sewn correctly on top and so the top fabric would fray and come undone.
This was disappointing because otherwise they would be a great sock liner, they are comfortable, and do a great job as a liner sock, and can be worn as a thin sock independently.
Great as liners or worn alone By Willow from TN on 08/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The heels have started to wear thin after many days of use, but still a Great liner.
