good fit, no bunching, [...] By leslieqb from fort jones, ca on 07/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn teh sox once, 8 mile rt hike up into a lake with a new pair of boots. Incipient blister (at about 4 miles) never realized, I wonder whether more padding would have helped...
By Dressage fan from Southeast on 07/07/2008 Pros: Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are nice socks, but would only hold up to very light hiking. The are more appropriate for walking socks. Any serious hiking would require a liner sock.
Great Sox for Hikes and Field Trips By txgalonthego from TX on 03/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these socks in light hiking boots and in trail running shoes for 'field days', outdoor classes, and short (2-6 hour) hikes. They are just the right middle weight, not too hot (but maybe too heavy for summer), with just enough cushioning.

By Lt Bird from NE Ohio on 12/05/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Easy on and off - no tightness at all, but still snug enough to not drop, bunch or roll. They offer excellent comfort and warmth on cool days, cool on warmer days. Colder days require a heavier sock. I wear these with hiking boots, casual shoes and at work with heavy footwear - all comfortable in these Bridgedales. I buy Bridgedales whenever possible because of great durability, comfort and fit.
