By Dean from Florence, KY on 08/16/2008 Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Comments: I purchased two pair of Rohner socks for like hiking, backpack rail travel, and gifts. They lacked the Rohner label and seemed not up to the usual Rohner standard of best in the world.

Okay, nothing fabulouos, nothing great By Just a guy from Derry, NH on 08/02/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Aside from outdoors activities, I also wear heavy boots and am on the move all the working day over rough ground. Hiking socks have always been a mainstay, but these do not work as well as others on the market. The remind me of the old standard wool socks from 20 years ago.

We will be hiking in Switzerland this fall and I will wear them then. I have worn one pair while hiking in the mountains here and I like them very much.
By SweetCat from Oregon on 07/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the "inside-out" socks, that puts the loops on the outside and keeps the smooth surface next to your skin. While not the most attractive design, they are the most comfortable socks I've ever worn.
By Sock Lover from California on 07/23/2008 Cons: Scratchy on my skin, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Weird socks. I couldn't figure out which side to wear them on so I tried them both ways (inside out?) Still they seemed scratchy except for the foot cushion part.
By Backpacker from Grand Canyon, AZ on 07/16/2008 Bottom Line: Comments: Sock could hug leg just a little bit tighter.
