Apparently the yarns are very loosely twisted: the wool has pulled out from the yarns and the whole thing looks like a furry, matted-down dog. I'm definitely working my way back up from tenderfoot and the socks are great.

The description of the product was light brown. When I got them I was very disappoited. I really wanted light brown but the socks were more khaki green. So, I gave them away. It just seemed like too much trouble to send them back or complain.
