By Cross from Northern California on 02/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Superb base layer Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been reading about this Windshirt for years now and should have gotten one long ago. So light and breathable you'll forget you have it on yet surprisingly warm. Under differing conditions it will serve as a base layer, light weight insulating layer, or outer layer for cool weather, high output aerobic activities (bicycling, running, ski touring and snow shoeing). Don't wait, get one and you'll find the use!

By Jr. from Truckee, CA on 01/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my favorite layer. It packs small and light and blocks wind. This is my second one the first lasted over ten years. I use it for ski touring over a long sleeve lightweight poly pro, and under a gore tex uninstalled jacket if needed. It’s not waterproof but water resistance and breaths very well. I also use it for mountain biking on the downhill but it’s not tare proof so be careful. This is often copied but this is the best. This layer is good anytime you want some warmth and wind protection and it packs very small.

It's the best piece of protection you'll ever own.
