I have re-calibrated the compass almost daily, but have not had better results.

As a dash-top, general Alpaha (N,W,E,S) compass it is passable. Better compass service comes at four times the price. "Mosquito Repellant" characteristic works as well as the time and temperature services - it doesn't. Was about to return unit yesterday when the compass resumed operation -- I need it, and will risk keeping it.

The minutes were counted as seconds and no matter how hard I tried, I could not calibrate the compass. The second one I received wouldn't calibrate either. After messing with it for about an hour it magically calibrated on it's own and now it works great. If you can get it to work it is extremely useful and accurate.
