They are extremely comfortable because of the wide toe box and although they have decent traction in most weather, they are not good for walking in snow. I have found them to be comfortable in warm and cold temperatures, but of course, I will change to a proper "snow boot" when the winter really sets in.

So, now they belong to my 9 year old. She likes them - but also has a pair of the keen shay boots that don't require tying - so guess which pair she chooses more often?
