Patagonia is much more than an outdoor clothing company. I wear a size 13, ordered a size 13 and they fit perfectly with my waders. Therefore, I think they are true to size, knowing that they will be worn with the neoprene booties of waders. So far, only worn a few times and grip is good on slimy rocks. Good ankle support.
